MOONS & PLANETS

A moon is full when it is opposite the sun. It is a symbol for completions, endings and letting go. Full Moons carry a lot of emotional energy and can lead to heighten tensions and aggressive outbursts. Its advisable to avoid conflict and let go of what is upsetting on a full moon. 

A New Moon is when the moon is closest to the sun. It offers the opportunity for change and new beginnings.

Set intentions on the new moon, for a fresh start or change in circumstances. 

New moons are just as enchanting as full moons. Use the power to your advantage and tap the strong intuition and higher conscious frequencies. 

Blue Moons occur when there are two moons in the same month.  Even though they tend not to be blue, it's still a rare event. Blue moons ask that people pay attention to their communication and internal voice. 

Although not widely celebrated, blue moons are especially magical and can signify a culmination of emotional  events.

An eclipse is a very sacred time - Symbolic of the powerful union in the heavens. When the Sun and Moon become one, When light and dark unite. Eclipses are omens for change and can usher in higher frequencies of cosmic energy.

Mercury is ruled by Gemini and closely related to communication. Mercury is said to be the messenger of the zodiac and affects the way people think, talk and process information. 

Venus is known as the planet of love and romance. It is ruled by Taurus and Libra and linked to the goddess Aphrodite.

Artistic expression, creativity and Desire are the love planets specialty.  Venus enhances our beauty, balance, harmony and sexual energy. 

This fiery planet represents, passion and anger. Harnessing deep rooted pain and transmuting into a creative capacity it will lead to endless passion and fulfilment.

Mars is the symbol for the God of war and linked to Aries and Scorpio. Mars denotes action and masculine energy. 

Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system. It is an expansive planet and a symbol for knowledge and strength. Connected to the zodiac sign Sagittarius it encourages people to travel and dig deep for self analysis and answers. 

Saturn, also known as Cronus or time  watches over karma. It brings discipline and responsibility. The planetary ruler of Capricorn. This planet thrives on structure, order and duty.  `

The planet of change and revolution. Ruler of Aquarius and everything humanitarian. This giant gas bubble brings in change, civil unrest and progress. Known for its links to advanced technology, this planet is an avatar in rebellious activity. 

Probably the most spiritual planet of them all, as it rules imagination, dreams, psychic abilities and fantasies. The ruler of Pisces, this planet is a big dreamer and master of illusion.

Pluto, planet of the underworld. Represents, life, death, rebirth and transformation.  Pluto brings hidden truths to light. The ruler of Scorpio, is highly intuitive and psychic planet.

Retrogrades don't actually mean that the planets move backwards, the energy of the planet is  turning  inwards. Like a giant breath in. It seems to slow down so it can reconnect to its specific spiritual energy. Think of it as the planet going into a period of contemplation & retrospection.
